Meet the Manager

Dan Rubenstein

Dan began his career in pet care unexpectedly in 1999. Inspired by an event that involved his dog, Sydney, Dan set about to establish one of the first premier doggie daycare centers in America. While employed as a Technology Consultant with Accenture Dan placed Sydney with a dog exercising service. Since Dan was working at least 15 hours a day during the week and at times on the weekends as well, the service was responsible for Sydney’s care almost on a daily basis. On July 30th, 1999 Sydney, a 170 pound St. Bernard, was picked up by the service like he was every work day since Dan had enrolled him but the company’s careless and neglectful behavior on that day, ended up costing Sydney his life. The tragic event was emotionally devastating for Dan but inspired him to start one of the first dog daycare businesses in the county called All For Doggies. Dan made sure and still does until today that dogs will always have a clean, fun, and safe place to play while their pet parents are away.

Here’s what our customers are saying about PUPS

  • meet_the_managerPUPS is very clean, comfortable and modern. The owner Dan is great! Our dog visited for daycare and I’m so happy to have this as a local spot! We will be back for the dog grooming. I’m confident and excited that this new small business will take off!

Dan has been a huge help with my dog. I work significant (80+) hours a week, with a very chaotic schedule. My dog goes to daycare a couple times a week, and gets walks from Dan a couple times a week.

Dan is flexible and takes wonderful care of my dog. My dog means the world to me, and I know that he is in good, professional hands with Dan. Dan is a very experienced and knowledgeable person regarding dog care, and shows this in how he cares for my dog. He also makes adjustments to each situation, and provides an overall great situation for my dog.

I have recommended Dan to several people, and will continue to do so. Great walker!
